# Standard truss masses

In the stock game, truss masses are scaled proportionally by volume. A 1x4 truss is 4 times the mass of a 1x1 truss, a circular truss is `pi/4` times the mass of a square truss, and a truss with diameter `dx` is `dx^3/dy^3` times the mass of a truss with diameter `dy`.

Using the stock XL Square 1x1 truss with a mass of 3.125 t as a baseline, we calculate the mass of all stock and potential modded trusses for each shape, length, and size, rounded to four decimal places:

| Size | Diameter | Square 1x1 | Square 1x4 | Circular 1x1 | Circular 1x4 |
