Open the source catalog
The linked-asset browser uses the KSP2/Redux installation already configured in ThunderKit. No additional catalog path setup is required.
Before opening the browser
Complete the normal Redux mod-project setup:
Configure the game installation in ThunderKit.
Run the project's normal ThunderKit import.
Wait for Unity to finish importing and compiling.
The standard import includes Import Addressable Catalog. ThunderKit derives the Addressables location from the configured game installation and imports the catalog metadata needed by the editor.
Do not copy the game's Addressables files into your mod's Assets folder.
Open the browser
Open Modding → Linked Addressables → Open Browser….
The status line should report the number of linkable assets and the source installation. You can now search by address, label, or type and create linked assets.
After changing the game installation
If you change ThunderKit's configured game installation:
Run the ThunderKit import again.
Open the linked-asset browser and click Refresh Catalog.
Reimport linked assets that report stale or missing source data.
Troubleshooting
The catalog or settings file is missing means the configured game installation is incomplete, points at the wrong executable, or has not been imported successfully. Verify ThunderKit's game settings and rerun the normal import.
The catalog contains no linkable objects usually means the import did not finish or the game assemblies needed to resolve asset types are unavailable.
A bundle is missing means the configured installation is incomplete or its catalog and bundles do not belong to the same game version. Repair or update the installation, then rerun the import.
The browser needs access to the installed game's bundles to preview linked assets. Those bundles remain outside the mod project and are not part of the mod package.
